The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation, along with the University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences, invites you to participate in the XI INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORTS (AFIDE 2025). 

Themes to be developed:

  • Biomedical, Physiological, Psychological, and Social Sciences or others applied to Physical Education, Physical Activity, Recreation, and Sports.
  • Sports Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and other emerging technologies applied to Physical Education, Physical Activity, Recreation, and Sports.
  • Continuing education for professionals in Physical Education, Physical Activity, Physical Recreation, and Sports.
  • Management and direction of Physical Education, Physical Activity, Physical Recreation, and Sports.
  • Information and Communication Technologies applied to Physical Education, Physical Activity, Physical Recreation, and Sports.
  • Physical Recreation, leisure time, and quality of life.
  • Physical Education.
  • Therapeutic and preventive physical activity.
  • Theory and Methodology of Sports Training

Presentation Modalities: 

Each submitted work must be headed by the general information of the authors, including first and last name, scientific degree or academic title, institution of origin, country, email address, and ORCID code (up to four), indicating with *, the one related to participation in the submitted work. Accompany the work with a letter of originality..

Poster Presentation:

The posters or banners in digital format (PowerPoint, PDF, and/or JPG). Arial at 34 points. Include: Title, Full names of authors and co-authors, Institutions, Introduction, Objective, Method, Results (May include tables and/or figures, photos, and images necessary to effectively communicate your work). Conclusions and updated References.

Presentation of the Papers:

The works must be original. Title: a maximum of 12 words. Summary: up to 200 words in a single paragraph. (Spanish and English). Keywords: at least three. Introduction. (1 page). Materials and methods: based on data. (2 to 3 pages). Development: Detailed analysis of the contributions. (3 pages). Conclusions and recommendations: Directly related to the title, objective, and results of the work. (1 page). References and bibliography: in accordance with APA Seventh Edition guidelines. (1 page). Maximum 10 pages, letter size, Word format, Arial 12 font, justified, one and a half line spacing.

Video Presentation: 

Along with your 10-page paper, you must submit a capsule in MP4 format where you present: the problem solved, how you did it, the result, and the impact. It must not exceed 3 minutes and 25 MB in size, discussing the main results of your work.

Great stories are for everyone, even if they were written for just one person. If you try to write it thinking of a broad and general audience, your story will sound false and won't be exciting. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it is genuine for one person, it will be for others as well.
