The Havana Triathlon is more than a competition: it combines history and sport in a unique setting. Swimming in the Malecón, cycling in front of colonial architecture, and running through iconic streets turns the event into a sensory experience that spreads energy and excitement..

- All athletes, whether federated or not, who register in the manner established by the organization will be able to participate in the Triathlon. It is important to indicate if this is your first triathlon..
- Each participant takes part in the Triathlon individually, under their own responsibility and having a sufficient level of physical fitness and technical skill to face it and reach the end of each segment within the cutoff times set by the organization. By accepting the conditions of the organization and the event, they release the organization from any physical issues without having notified them..
- The distribution of race numbers will take place on the two days prior to the event at the location designated by the organization, and information will be provided in advance to all participants. IMPORTANT: Race numbers will not be distributed on the day of the competition..
- It is ESSENTIAL to present your PASSPORT or an official document that verifies your identity in order to access the transition area. Entry will not be allowed without presenting this document or any other official identification document..
- The top 3 male and female finishers of the Triathlon of Havana will receive medals. The top 3 in each age group will also receive their medals..
- All participants must go through the exit control before the call room 15 minutes before their departure.
- The material control schedules in the transition area will be strictly enforced. Those triathletes who do not pass the control, arrive late, and/or do not comply with these schedules will not be allowed to start..
- Wetsuits are allowed according to the World Triathlon rules; however, due to the temperature in Cuba during that time, it may not be possible to use the wetsuit..
- It is mandatory to wear the swim cap provided by the event organization with the number clearly visible on it. The use of swim goggles is recommended..
- The triathletes who do not follow the official course will be disqualified.
- Each triathlete must wear their bib number clearly visible on their back. It is prohibited to make any modifications to the bib number..
- Each triathlete will receive a specific label for the bike in the race packet, which must be placed on the frame or saddle with their competitor number. The packet also contains three smaller labels with the bib number that must be affixed to the front of the helmet and on both sides of it. It is the triathlete's responsibility to place all these stickers..
- It is mandatory to wear a hard helmet, according to the World Triathlon rules.
- Any unusual equipment will be subject to inspection and validation by the officials and the organization.
- Triathletes must always ride on the right side of the road.
- The overtaking maneuver must not exceed 30 seconds. The overtaken triathlete must restore the distance of 10 meters, even if they intend to overtake as well. Violating this rule results in a time penalty.
Transition 1 (swimming-cycling)
- It is prohibited to throw away the wetsuit and swim cap along the course.
- In the bag pickup area, triathletes must take theirs..
- It is prohibited to undress outside of the changing room and is grounds for disqualification..
- Triathletes must leave their swim gear in the designated bike bag, ensuring that it is properly closed, before placing it in the designated area for that purpose..
- It is prohibited to jump or cross over the bike racks during the transition.
- You need to put on the helmet and fasten it before moving the bike from the rack.
- It is prohibited to place objects on the ground next to the bicycle.
- Biking is not allowed in the transition area. This will be penalized with a stop and go. The athlete must push their bike to the exit of the transition area before getting on it..
- During the bike drop-off, athletes can leave their shoes on the bike.
Transition 2 (cycling-running)
- Upon reaching the entrance to the transition, the athlete must dismount from the bicycle and continue on foot to the designated area marked with their number in the transition zone to leave the bicycle..
- To ensure the recording of the split time, the triathlete must pass over the mat placed for this control next to the transition area..
- Each triathlete must pick up their own bag in the pickup area, where there will be no volunteers.

- Triathletes may not accept being accompanied or having their pace set by a vehicle or during the race. This includes any attempt at following..
- In the race, there are no food bags; however, there will be a designated area 50 meters after the first aid station where the person in charge of delivering your personal food bag can walk a few steps alongside the triathlete until it is received. The triathlete is responsible for organizing this personal bag pickup..
- The triathletes must follow all the instructions given to them by the race officials.
- The runners must always march on the right side without crossing at any time the cones that separate the two lanes of the circuit..
- The closing time for race control and for the event in its entirety is at 3:00 PM.
- The awards for each distance will take place at the end of each competition at Marina Hemingway.

The triathlete will receive a wristband that they must wear throughout all the days of the event to access all areas of the competition. The timing of the event will be done using the CHIP system. Before the competition, a chip will be provided that must always be worn on the ankle.
Each participant must sign the waiver of liability and will show an identification that can be photocopied.
In the triathlete's PACK you will find:
- Test dorsal.
- Swimming Cap.(1)
- Bags.(3). After Race, Bike, Run.
- Dorsal Stickers (1 for the bicycle + 3 for the helmet, front, left side, and right side).
- A chip and a band to wear it on the ankle.
BAGS – AGE GROUPS (POPULAR CATEGORY).
Three bags will be given to you. White, green, and yellow.
WHITE BAG (BIKE). It must contain the kit you need for the cycling discipline and will be delivered at T1 along with your bike the day before the event. Please secure the bag tightly.
RED BAG (RUN): It must contain the kit you need for the running discipline and will be delivered at La Marina Hemingway the day before the event near T1. Exact location and method to be determined. Please tie the bag securely.
BLUE BAG (AFTER RACE). It should contain the kit you need once the event is over, such as dry clothes, hotel room key, medications, sealed recovery products, etc., and it will be handed out on the day of the event, near the start of the swimming.
