BRIEF CURRICULUM SUMMARY: M.Sc. Zeida Gicela Cabrera Baró.

Professor at the INDER branch school. She participates in research related to achievement management in sports organizations. Assistant professor at the Manuel Fajardo University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences. She holds a degree in Physical Culture. She has provided mentoring and advising on master's theses, postgraduate specializations, and undergraduate final projects. She has several publications related to physical recreation.

 

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVE: To update the technical and methodological knowledge and skills of Recreation specialists, enabling them to efficiently manage recreational settings by linking advances in science and educational technology with tools and instruments to conduct physical and recreational activities at a high professional level.

 

THEMATIC LINES OF THE ACTIVITY:

1. Recreation in children, adolescents and young people in the use and exploitation of free time

2. Impact of improvement for recreation: perspectives and challenges in today's society.

3. Recreation in nature and its relationship with health.

4. Environmental education and physical recreation.

5. Management of direction and communication for the Recreation process.

6. Community Physical Recreation Projects.

 

PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION: The process dynamics are based on the knowledge system of the seven courses that comprise the diploma. Students will be able to diagnose the specific situation of the community in terms of material and human resources, taking into account the different recreational activities appropriate to the biopsychosocial characteristics of the population groups through participatory techniques and andragogy methods. Teamwork will be used for evaluation.
