Doctor of Science, second-degree. Principal Professor and Chair of the Strength Training Department at the INDER Branch School, author of 45 books on Strength in Sports and Weightlifting, as well as 12 brochures and more than 90 scientific and technical articles. Emeritus Professor at the Manuel Fajardo University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences. Meritorious Researcher of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, Technology and Environment (CITMA). World Award, International Olympic Committee (IOC) Trophy; World Research Award of the World University Council; and Order of Merit in Sports.

 

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVE: To contribute, through theoretical, scientific, and methodological foundations, to the acquisition of knowledge, based on biological, psychological, pedagogical, and environmental disciplines, on the substantive differences between bodybuilding and high performance in sports.

PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION: The learning dynamic is based on participation in workshops and seminars; active participation methods and teamwork based on the concept of meaningful learning will be used. Assessment will be frequent and partial peer-to-peer.
